About me
My understanding of justice-led sustainability work is rooted in reciprocity, storytelling, and community-led design. As the Outreach and Education Coordinator, my work is focused on deepening connections within the UW community in non-traditional environmental spaces and shifting the narrative of sustainability towards one rooted in intersectional approaches to environmental justice.
For the past three years I’ve worked with the CSF, exploring themes of knowledge systems, student-led movements, and storytelling through our resource guide, educational outreach, and independent publications. I am interested in how creativity, storytelling, and design can center historically excluded narratives and equip communities to lead radical change.
I am a rising senior with a double degree in Visual Communication Design and Environmental Studies and minor in Urban Ecological Design. Through my studies, I am interested in the interconnections between justice-led sustainability, participatory design processes, and climate resilience.
On slow days and when the sun is out, I enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing, and experimenting with film photography.
