About me

As a member of the CSF Committee, I am interested in how we can design our campus to both improve nature, such as by providing habitat for plant and wildlife species, and our health, such as by providing outdoor access, heat reduction, and cleaner air. I envision a more equitable future where the UW campus provides services and physical spaces that all students, faculty, and staff and the broader Seattle community can engage with day-to-day that both improves their lives and have a benefit to nature.

My PhD research is focused on predicting how climate change may impact commercially important fish species on the U.S. Pacific Coast using quantitative spatio-temporal models to evaluate the effect of changing temperature and oxygen on fish.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, soccer, yoga, concerts, and reading.
