Housing & Food Services

Housing & Food Services (HFS) is committed to environmental stewardship in collaboration with our students to reduce our environmental impact, and continually working to transform, grow and improve our sustainability efforts. Any student or group of students interested in partnering on a CSF project with HFS must initially submit a proposal to the HFS Sustainability Committee. Once a project is submitted, the committee will contact the submitter to set up a meeting to review and vet the proposal.

UW Facilities

UW Facilities is a recognized leader in sustainable campus management in regards to buildings, grounds, energy, water and transportation systems. Norm Menter, Energy Conservation Manager, acts as gatekeeper for this department in regards to collaboration with the CSF, and he will happily direct you to the expertise you need within their organization.

PAID INTERNSHIP Opportunity

The UW Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability Office is looking for an Earth Day Coordinator. The intern's main tasks will be to coorindate 2014 Earth Day events, foster student environmental leadership, and develop a sustainable model for future Earth Day planning. $11/hr, 19.5 hrs/week.
