Halito! (hello) my name is Allison McClaughry, I am a citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. I am incredibly passionate about environmental justice issues and aiming to enhance the sovereignty of Native nations through fighting against environmental justice issues. I have had the wonderful opportunity of carrying out research relating to environmental justice issues of the Choctaw Nation, specifically understanding how environmental justice is a product of colonialism and a force upon Indigenous land sovereignty.
In my free time I love to birdwatch, read, and sew.
