The Campus Sustainability Fund would not be possible without institutional support from several University of Washington offices and programs. Among these include:
The UW Sustainability Office
The Sustainability Office promotes sustainability by engaging, connecting, and informing members of the University of Washington community. The UW Sustainability office houses the CSF through advisorial support and office space.
The Climate Action Plan (CAP)
The Environmental Stewardship advisory Committee (ESC) formed a committee to draft the CAP in 2009. The CAP calls for the creation of the CSF through Strategy 6.1.5: Establish a Student Green Fee. The CSF is helding the University of Washington establish it's CAP goals , fostering student innovation and participation in the process
The Services and Activities Fee (SAF) Committee
The SAF Committee develops an annual recommended budget to the Board of Regents detailing how funds collected from SAF should be spent. The Committee also recommends the fee level for each year. CSF currently receives most of its funding from SAF.
The Student Technology Fee
As of 2017, the CSF has received a yearly allocation as determined by the STF Committee.
