Are you looking to make a difference on campus by applying your passions and what you’ve learned at the University of Washington toward a hands-on project? Join us at our upcoming Winter Grant Writing Workshop on Thursday, February 25th from 3-4pm. During this event, participants will have the opportunity to build their grant-writing skills and learn more about the diverse pool of on-campus grants available for projects and initiatives at the UW –– including the Campus Sustainability Fund and Resilience Lab Seed Grants. Through this seed grant program, the Campus Sustainability Fund and UW Resilience Lab provide financial and institutional support to students, staff, and instructors to help them hone their skills, create impactful projects, and develop as leaders and professionals while upholding sustainability initiatives on campus.
The event, which is open to all UW community members, will include an informational session followed by a brief activity that will guide participants to get organized and started with the grant writing and project implementation process. This is a great opportunity to network and to learn how to promote sustainability, compassion, and resilience at the UW through projects that matter to you!
