UW Transportation Services provides resources, information and access to dependable and sustainable commuting options (such as walking bicycling, U-PASS & RideShare), as well as UW Fleet Services & Transportation Construction projects.
UW Facilities Services is a recognized leader in sustainable campus management in regards to buildings, grounds, energy, water and transportation systems. Norm Menter, Energy Conservation Manager, acts as gatekeeper for this department in regards to collaboration with the CSF, and he will happily direct you to the expertise you need within their organization.
If you are looking to speak directly with someone regarding a project that requires the collaboration with or expertise from UW Recycling (housed within Facilites Services) please contact Liz Gignilliat directly.
The UW Sustainability Offfice administratively and physically houses the CSF, and also contains much of the institutional knowledge about sustainability efforts on campus and Fund history.
The UW Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability Office is looking for an Earth Day Coordinator. The intern's main tasks will be to coorindate 2014 Earth Day events, foster student environmental leadership, and develop a sustainable model for future Earth Day planning. $11/hr, 19.5 hrs/week.
